Haleigh painted her Halloween pumpkin last night. She decided on the colors and the face and did such a good job. The paint was a bit runny because she didn't quite dry the brush out when changing colors. She did make it sound like she planned it that way because she told me that this pumpkin was crying. She has chicken pox; hence, the spots. She has a green mouth and a yellow tongue and I think it's adorable! Haleigh told me just the other day that she is going to be an artist when she grows up. She loves painting, drawing, coloring, and working with clay. She may be well on her way to becoming an artist. I'm sure her uncle Jake would approve!

Did you opt for painting rather then carving or are you still going to let them carve and play in the goop? I am undecided. Goop is fun but such a pain to clean up.
