The life experiences of a stay-at-home mother of one girl and one boy.
We Will Miss You, Cinder
January 1, 1999 - August 31st, 2009
Haleigh is six years old as of May 16th. She is such a sweet and loving little girl. She is such a good big sister and is always trying to help her little brother and make him laugh. She is such a bright light in our lives and is so curious about the world around her. She loves playing baseball, soccer, and hopefully she'll be testing her skills at basketball this winter. She loves bugs, snakes, and spiders. Anything that has to do with science thrills and excites her. She also loves to dress up and dance. Haleigh loves to read and loves to have stacks of books close to her bed. I'm so proud of how much she's progressed and learned this past school year and next year she is so excited to start the 1st grade. We love our little Haleigh-bug!
Trevor is now 3 years old as of June 21st, 2011. He is such a ball of energy. He is constantly on the move and keeping us on our toes. He's all boy in the way he talks, walks, and plays. He loves trucks, trains, and cars and enjoys playing t-ball and throwing the baseball with the family. He loves anything Pixar and even loves the movie Tangled (I think he has a little crush on Repunzel). We love you Trevor and can't imagine our lives without you!
I'm a stay-at-home mom with a girl named Haleigh and a boy named Trevor, hence the name of my blog. I teach piano during the week and it keeps me busy, grounded, and social. I also work doing lesson plans on books which I love doing. I've always wanted to write and this is a first step to getting a book under my belt. I've always enjoyed music and love to listen to all types. My IPOD is full of songs ranging from Rock-and-Roll to Classical. You'll even find some Laurie Berkner and Wiggles songs in there. I enjoy spending time with my husband of 12 years and my little girl and boy. I love to play and watch pretty much all sports. I'm a big NCAA basketball and NFL fan. Go Heels and Panthers!!! I also like to watch the Tampa Bay Lightning play and miss going to the games in Florida. Thank goodness for Sunday Ticket and Fantasy Football to get me through the dull winters in Utah. I love reality television and watching movies while snacking on just about anything that's not good for me. I enjoy reading and socializing with friends and family.
